I honestly bought this thinking it was much bigger in size since I picked the "Large" size with the 2 rows of white tassels. 1st, I will say it is super cute but I didn't really look at the measurements, which is my fault. The basket is super small so I can't use it as a hamper for clothing, so I am going to use it as a task basket to transfer stuff from 1 room to another when I tidy up. I was gonna return it, but it's too cute. I bought 2, I will keep 1 and return the other. You could honestly use it as a beach tote if you wanted to. 4 stars for me.Made for the perfect baby shower gift basket!Works great with my fake tropical tree in it.Just received this basket and need to reshape the base a little so can’t attest to if it’ll be fixed once filled. But overall it’s really cute. Came in the box folded inward but it was fine and didn’t seem to ruin the weaving. Some minor deformities with the tassels but nothing worth returning. I thought it would be able to fit a few throw blankets but seeing it in person now I am realizing it’s too small for that. I read the dimensions but the large size just looked bigger/wider in reviews. Oh well. So I might put it by the door to house my dogs leash and a couple of his jackets with the colder weather coming. It’s a super cute decorative basket just smaller than it seemed. Wish they had a much bigger/taller version of this exact one bc the style is perfect. This size is too dinky to sit next to the couch for blankets so still on the hunt!LOVE! First off, they run smaller than what you may be looking for, for potted plants. -- The other "larges" in this category tend to be larger. I ordered the medium and large, the medium seems like a small to me compared to others in this same category which I've purchased. With that said-- this product still rates 5 stars for me! Simply keep that in mind when ordering Small, Medium, and Large.These are a little more sturdy than the other belly baskets you may see around which are flimsy and floppy (i love those, too). Neither of these characteristics are negative to me, I think it is just helpful to know that this one in particular is a thicker seagrass and holds its upright shape. Also, make sure the pot you are using it for is not super wide because the basket has a narrow opening and is not very stretchy. I used the small basket for a ZZ Plant, and the large for a tall Dracaena. Both look great!Seems obvious, but just make sure you have a good liner inside the bottom of the basket so it doesn't get wet/ruined.The Macrame accents are adorable! When you fold the basket in, the tassels are right at the top of the basket making it super cute to use that way as well. Overall, an excellent value and I received the baskets in a day! Thank you!I wish I would have taken a video of the unfolding process. While it seems a bit daunting, it really is simple to unfold the basket after taking it out of the shipping material. Make sure to use smooth and even movements. I slid my hand under the edge, and slowly pushed it up towards the opening to pop it out. The basket is very sturdy for what it is, and can take some pressure so don't be scared to break it! Just go slow.I don't know why rating by stretch is an option, because the purpose of this basket is to keep it's shape to hold stuff. It has slight flex, but almost no stretch in the weave. It's fairly thin and light weight, but thick enough to do the job!Overall, super cute piece! We are using it for a silent auction package for our organization and it is absolutely perfect!Em so maybe it was my mistake but the sizing seemed a bit smaller. Perhaps the diameter describes measures the widest middle part. I thought I measured correctly when ordered but I found the pot didn’t fit through the narrower top.I actually ended up cutting a slit in the top to get my pot to fit - I turned it around so you wouldn’t see and it looks good.Cheapest straw material but looks good,Make sure to buy a tray or put trash bag inside if putting plant with drainage inside itA nice basket, I especially like the tassel along the edge.The measurements are not exact. The lip of the basket is narrower than the rest of the basket but with a bit of manoeuvring I got it in.My plant seems to like it :)I loved this woven basketThey look amazing in my living roomSize are perfectDefinitely recommend and definitely buy again xxxJust the right size for my 17cm plant pot. The quality is really good for the price - I'm happy with my purchase!Looks beautiful with my large rubber plant in it; good material and seems sturdy.But, beware... the opening at the top is not nearly as wide as is listed in the description. I had to re-pot my plant in order for it to fit, despite measuring the pot before purchasing this.
