The manufacturer states clearly that this basket of flowers is SILK and only made for INDOOR use. But after reading many reviews, I decided to purchase two of them to hang at the end of my driveway near my mailbox. I have hated trekking water to the road daily to water my previous hanging baskets, but love the look of colorful floral baskets to greet family and friends. After one month of sun, wind, and rain these baskets still look great and I'm hoping they last more than one summer. It's too soon to tell if the colors will fade but perhaps I'll update this review in September. One reviewer said she used industrial glue to glue all the flowers back on because so many blew off during a storm. I expected to need to do the same thing, but have only had about six blossoms fall and they've weathered three storms. My neighbor asked me if they were "real" and said she wanted to come and touch them. But her husband told her she'd look crazy... so she sent her young son to investigate!! I told her they ARE "real"...they're real silk flowers! They come packaged and boxed well and were delivered quickly. They really are gorgeous. Pricey...but so far well worth the money.
