Fits like it should and is thicker plastic than the other one.This Bosh cutlery basket does not have the design defects of the Thermador basket which is designed to sit on the side of the dish rack as well as over the plate supporting pins. The Bosh cutlery basket only sits on the side of the bottom dish rack but, it has much bigger cells to hold more silverware as well as room to allow kitchen utensils (wire whisks, spatulas, etc.) to lean over so as not interfere with the washing on the upper rack.Perfect for my bosche, came with small basket, dumb.Well constructed and exactly what we needed to replace the missing basket on the dishwasher that was installed by a previous owner.We just purchased a new home and the Bosch dishwasher came with a very small cutlery holder. I called Bosch and they stated they didn’t have a larger one that fit our model.
